To ensure the best result, gentle care during healing is very important. Please follow these simple recommendations to support your tattoo while it heals.
Ensure your tattoo is covered for 2 days
I will cover your tattoo with a dermal “second skin”. Please remove it after 2 days under running water, slowly and gently.
Wash your tattoo gently
Wash the area with room-temperature water. After removing the “second skin”, use a mild, fragrance-free soap. Avoid baths while the tattoo is healing.
Let it air dry
After washing, leave the tattooed area uncovered and allow it to breathe for about 15 minutes.
Apply unscented moisturiser
I recommend Hustle Butter or CeraVe cream. Make sure your hands are clean before applying. During healing, itching, flaking, and mild soreness are normal. Please do not scratch. Apply a small amount to keep the skin comfortable and supported.
Avoid sweating
For the first week, try to avoid activities that cause heavy sweating, such as gym workouts, hiking, hot yoga, or intense exercise.
Avoid beach, pool or direct sunlight
Water exposure and direct sun can damage a fresh tattoo. Please avoid them for at least 2 weeks.
Sun protection after 2 weeks
After 2 weeks, if spending time outdoors, apply sunscreen to help protect the tattoo and prevent fading.
